Imagine Dragons played at the San Diego State Open Air Theater on June 1st. It was my first time shooting here and I was pleasantly surprised. Other than the 900 steps from the top of the arena to the pit, and the rather awkward entrance into the aforementioned pit, it was a nice venue to shoot at and see a concert. The sound was good and for the most part the light was as well.
Imagine Dragons puts on an amazing, energetic show. Dan Reynolds the lead singer was all over the stage and engaging the audience every chance he could. It was difficult at time figuring out if he was going to be in the frame or not, he moves so much, but that's why I take so many shots. I know a lot of them are going to be throw aways.
So hope you enjoy! Grace Potter and the Nocturnals are coming up. And I think in between shows I may reach into the archives and post a photo a day from some of my favorite shows in the past.
